The Italian Life Sciences Federation (FISV - Federazione Italiana Scienze della Vita) coordinates the activities of 12 different scientific societies, representing over 6000 scientists. Its annual meeting presents a detailed snapshot of Italian research in various areas of the life sciences, with presentations by a wealth of speakers from all parts of the country. The quality of the scientific programme is further enriched by the presence of several foreign scientists, internationally recognized as leading figures in their respective areas of expertise. The event, now in its 9th edition, is expected to bring together approximately a thousand participants from all corners of Italy, as well as other European countries and North America.

La FISV, Federazione Italiana Scienze della Vita, raggruppa e coordina l'attività di 12 Società Scientifiche attive in diversi campi, e rappresenta oltre 6000 ricercatori. Il Congresso Annuale della FISV rappresenta un evento significativo per la ricerca italiana nelle varie aree delle scienze della vita, caratterizzato da presentazioni dei migliori ricercatori provenienti da ogni parte di Italia. La qualità del programma scientifico è ulteriormente accresciuta dalla presenza di molti scienziati stranieri, riconosciuti a livello internazionale come figure leader nelle rispettive aree di interesse.
